A publication commissioned by Ideas Test and created in collaboration with Birkbeck (University of London) and Out of the Ordinary Places, reflecting on the various models of social engagement in the creation of new contemporary art commissions. The publication maps out the process of creation of Mikhail Karikis’s project “Ain’t Got No Fear” (2016) with the local community of the Isle of Grain, Kent, UK.
